Introduction to Hajj

Hajj is an extraordinary journey to the House of Allah in Makkah. It is an essential act of worship that every Muslim who is physically and financially able should perform once in their lifetime.

Our online Hajj course provides a comprehensive and accessible way to understand the purpose, preparation, rituals, and spiritual lessons of this blessed journey.

Importance of Hajj

Hajj is one of the five pillars of Islam. It is a pilgrimage to Makkah where Muslims pray, reflect, and follow the footsteps of Prophet Ibrahim, peace be upon him. This journey brings Muslims from all over the world together in worship before Allah.

It helps cleanse the heart, forgive sins, and increase faith. Every able Muslim is obligated to perform Hajj at least once in their lifetime.

What Did the Prophet ﷺ Say About Hajj?

The Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, told us about the great rewards of Hajj.

“Whoever performs Hajj for Allah and avoids sin will return as pure as the day they were born.”
“Hajj removes sins, and the reward for an accepted Hajj is Paradise.”

What Does the Quran Say About Hajj?

Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala says in the Quran:

“The first house set up for the people is surely the one in Makkah having blessings and guidance for all the worlds. In it there are clear signs: The Station of Ibrahim. Whoever enters it is secure. As a right of Allah, it is obligatory on the people to perform Hajj of the House — on everyone who has the ability to manage his way to it. If one disbelieves, then Allah is independent of all the worlds.” Surah Aal-e-Imran: 96-97

Allah has blessed Makkah, and Hajj is among Islam's most important acts of worship.
